Wight Materials Handling was formed in 1999 and has steadily grown ever since. We are now based at our new Shalfleet depot. We have a new purpose built trainee driving centre with classrooms and canteen facility’s. In 2009 we added Aims to our portfolio, strengthening our already strong team of engineers and office personnel.
The company is service led, placing major importance on after sales service programs. We have strong backgrounds in after sales service and repairs and feel it is most important to offer a fast, efficient and reliable field service to all customers.

Our ever growing fleet of Access Platforms are available for hire on a daily or weekly basis, with large savings for long term hire. We have varying platform heights ranging from a 13.72metre Cherry Picker to a 4 metre Scissorlift.
Wight Materials Handling provide an Island wide service from premises at Shalfleet. We are an accredited ITSSAR registered training centre teaching Forklift Truck drivers from novice to fully qualified driver, refresher days.
Services include Forklift Truck & Access Platform Sales, Hire, Service and Repair, Thorough Examination Certification and Forklift Driver Training.
